Czech Republic and Poland
The convenient location in the border triangle between Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic makes trips to the Giant Mountains, to Jelena Gora, Liberec and Prague almost mandatory for a holiday.
The Giant Mountains offers a variety of popular destinationss. It is worth taking a trip to Karpacz to the church of Wang, a Norwegian wooden stave church which was bought in 1841 by The King of Prussia, Frederick-William IV and inaugurated in 1844 at its present location. In Harrachov, you can see the ski jump. Špindlerův Mlýn is a tourist place worth seeing; in Pec pod Sněžkou is the valley station of the Czech lift to Mt. Schneekoppe on the Polish side of the mountain; the lift starts in Karpacz.
Recommended excursions are to Jelena Gora and Wroclaw in Poland as well as Liberec with the ridge and Prague in the Czech Republic. If you don’t want to drive with your own car, we suggest using local taxis or buses. Please feel free to ask at our reception, we can arrange the contact.
